Along the long journey today we saw many birds and (usually dead) animals

I spotted what I thought were two Eagles in the top of a tree….I think they are chicks in an eerie.

We saw many “dressed” termite hills, some t shirts some bras…..some with faces !

We arrive at Kathrine and head down to see these famous hot springs (literally behind our campsite)……we decide that as neither of us are strong swimmers, getting under the bridge to swim upstream to the waterfall where you can be immersed would be decidedly ill advised….its a lot deeper than i expected too !

So we go out for dinner instead, finding that the cafe attached to the campsite, is run by an Indian family, who see to specialise in Thai cuisine……

Tennant Creek to Elliott 29th April 2018

This was a really good clean and tidy site

There were many memorial sites like this along the route this one to JOHN FLYNN

THen we started to see termite mounds…….hundreds of them….

This was one we found the top of in a rest area

Eagle, probably a wedge tailed?

Arrived at Elliott basic hillbilly camp, had all facilities which were clean and tidy , sharing your shower with a tree frog, a whole new experience !!

This was the boss !!
