A short hop today to Batchelor and The Banyan Tree Caravan park, we arrive before lunch so our host, telling us there is plenty space, tells us to go and find Wangi falls for a picnic lunch.
These are the magnetic termite mounds, the termites build according to the earths magnetic field. They look like tombstones…
a green bottomed ant, we didnt get close, but did find one in the van the next day !!

Wangi falls….err no think this was Florence falls, as I look nervous on the viewing platform, which is just mesh….oooh wobbly knees !

When we return to the campsite, there is still plenty of space under trees, and the only two caravaners there (who are together) invite us for drinks…..lovely
